Ryszard Groblewski - viola
 

Ryszard Groblewski is born  in  1983  in  Warsaw.  He  started  his  musical  education  at  the  age  of  seven. He graduated  with honors from the  Warsaw Academy of Music where he studied with  Prof. Piotr  Reichert. In  recent  years  he  has  been  improving  his  musical  skills  with internationally renowned artists as Seiji Ozawa, Kim Kashkashian, Gabor Takačš, Wolfgang Marschner, Nobuko Imai, Atar Arad, Pamela Frank and Miriam Fried.

In 2005, Ryszard Groblewski won the first prize and the prize of the audience as well as the Breguet special prize of the 60th International Music Competition in Geneva. At the International ARD Competition in Munich, he was awarded the second prize in 2004. He also won many other international competitions. Ryszard Groblewski regularly performs as a soloist and chamber musician throughout Europe. Since 2009 he has been the principal violist of the Zurich Chamber Orchestra.
